The Strawberry Gum (Eucalyptus Olida) is a unique tree endemic to a small area in the Gibraltar Range National Park West of Grafton in Northern NSW. This area was badly damaged by Bushfires in 2020.
Strawberry Gum has a strong strawberry perfume and can be used in cosmetics, cooking, teas and for its strong anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties.
The First Nations people who passed through this area would use the leaves for chewing and for medicinal purposes
